Kai Hanno Schwind


Kai Hanno Schwind is Associate Professor at Kristiania University College. He teaches and researches at the School of Arts, Design and Media. His main research interests lie in the field of media and television studies, the mediatisation of humour and comedy and the exploration of transnational screen cultures. Schwind supervises Kristiania's research group for artistic research and is the founder and curator of AR@K, the school's annual symposium for artistic research in Oslo. His recent publications include the co-authored book "Friends - A Reading of the Sitcom" (2019, Palgrave/Macmillan) and the book chapter "My God, that's funny": Religionshumor i amerikanske og britiske komedier (2019, in: Ingen spøk. En studie av religion og humor. Cappelen Damm Akademisk).
